Hello,
I've replaced the two front strut tops on my Xantia, do I need to bleed the system to get fluid back into the struts? or do I just close the pressure release bolt on the accumulator and start the car?
Thanks,
Fangy.

The car won't rise with the valve open.Homer wrote:citronut wrote:with the presure release valve open after the car has finnished rising,
You want to tighten it, then start the car. Move the suspension up and down a few times and that's all you should need.[/quote
the idea of leaving the valve open for about 30 seconds after starting the engine then shut the valve allows some air to escape,in all th years i have worked on and around citroens i have always done this and all of the citroen garages i have worked for do it
