Using the search facility to find C5 postings

Post by Monkeyfeet »

Cannot seem to find any C5 (or c5) postings at all - there's definitely some out there though. Search just comes back with "no topics or posts met (my) criteria".Any helpful suggestions?

You can't just put in 'C5'. You've got to qualify it with something else.

Thanks, Ill try that.( could it also be something to do with the letter/word count - "bx" or "1.9" or "td" - 2 letter searches reply the same, whereas "xantia" and "1.9td" - 5 letter searches work? )

Tried "2.2 hdi" -with results

This any help??

Try "C5 exclusive" as I did and got a fair result.
I also notice that you can't copy and paste a URL for any search results which is a bit strange. ](*,)

Use "C5 HDi"
Why? Well, most users of C5s have HDIs, and with this, C5 is included on the global search (which is usually an "AND" function); this way every post that has "C5" on it, will appear. The search facility does not allow for a search using on a 2 letter word.
