Where is it?

Post by rossnunn »

Ok don't shout at me 'cos I've done a search & I'll be buggered if I can find it.
There was a thread about taking the fade up > fade down relay/electronics out of a Xantia that controls the interiour lights & retro fitting them.

From what I've found its all done in the central locking control unit, it has a lighting timer? I'm going to tootle of to the breakers this weekend & see about retro fitting this to the ZX.
Does anyone know where its located on the car? I can't find my Haynes BOL anywhere.

You will get just about the exact same effect with a standard interior light timer - at some £3-5 from your local alloy wheel "specialist" ...

Its a 2-wire device very easy to fit inside one of your interior lights.
The function is best explained as a "delayed release of the door courtesy lights switches".
