I'm thinking Citroen stopped making the 3dr version of the ZX before the 5 door model?
Hence why I'm not seeing any late plated 3drs?
Am I right?

May even be that they simply stopped importing them - so none are seen in the UK.
3 door ZX have a strange status - bargain basement at one end and fire-breathing moster at the other. There seems to have been something strange with the better ones - like the petrols didn't sell very well and so the diesel volcanes were introduced. I expect it come down to simple buyer's choice - if I want a Golf GTi - I'm going to have a Golf GTi - even if there are better cars out there.

I think the four door ones were built in France and the three doors in Spain, though whether that makes any difference I know not.
