XUD 9BTF electronic Bosch pump 98 Xantia TD

Post by Robin »

Can someone tell me how this pump shuts off fuel to stop the engine? I cannot see a conventional stop solenoid and we have symptoms of a failing solenoid. I think I have identified the engine correctly.
Descriptions or thoughts appreciated. Robin

Metal bracked is intended to make access impossible so a thief can't hot wire the solenoid - so plate is strong and fixed with shear bolts!

Somewhere on here you should find instructions - and even how to deal with the keypad control and so on.
