2000 W Xantia Activa on Ebay (UK)

Post by meeper »

Always fancied and Activa, and spotted this on ebay (UK).

I'm tempted, but just spent £400 on cam belt, water pump, service, MOT, etc etc on my old Xanita so this would not be the best time to change, I've just about talked myself out of it.

If anyone else fancies it I'll follow all the posts with interests as its new owner sorts it out!

There it was - gone!

Guy about 3 miles from me had one on ebay with a reserve around 800 and was being really stupid about a car with no MOT, non working sunroof and OLD OLD timing belt. After a flurry of emails it really looked as though I was wasting my time making ANY offer that would be true to the car's market value.

He got fed up listing it and put in on without a reserve and it struggled to get over 300 which was less than I'd have paid him!!

sheesh!!

Yes, but the LPG tank you'll have to fit to get any half tidy running economy plays hell with it's extra weight on the suspension!

!!RANT!!

Plus, there's no man MORE frustrated than the one that's stuck at the back of the ubiquitous waggon train of invalid carriages all following the old duffer trying to wring an extra .1 of a mile/litre out of his Scrotebag 1.1 GTSLX...

And there's ALWAYS some bugger coming the other way to stop you overtaking. !!RANT!!

I need to lie down again, my temple's popping...
