ZX Cutting out ???????

I have a Zx 1.4 1994, monopoint inj.
The problem I have is when the fuel starts to get below 1/2 tank level the engine briefly cuts out ONLY after a fairly sharp right turn. i.e Roundabouts and sharp corners. The car splutters and engine dies. Te car almost comes to a stop and life comes back into the car.
The dash lights dont come on so doesn't seem electrical. I have changed the fuel filter but no difference.HELP this is driving me nuts!!

Could be that the petrol tank breather is blocked which would cause problems. If blocked it would cause a facume in the tank as it empties and so as you go around a corner you are just sucking air in to the injection system. This may be easily fixed by undoing the smaller of the 2 pipes by the tank filer neck. Take off petrol cap aswell and give blow down to clear any obstruction or if unsure of the high from fumes try a long piece of wire but dont let go or you be right up the creek.
