Sorry to bother people about this again, but I have been trying to remove the steering wheel airbag so I can tighten the nut on the steering wheel.(Steering Wheel loose)
I have done as Francisco said, that is , disconnect the battery and leave for 15 mins., then turn the wheel ninety degrees and release the spring clips at the back of the wheel.
The problem is one clip can be pushed up and stays in position.
The other clip can be pushed down but will not stay in position.
Should I try to push it to one side as I push it down (or up depending on which direction I turn the wheel) or should I hold it down and try to prise out the airbag.
Is it safe to try to prise out the unit. How much pressure can I put on it.
Is it easy to damage.
Are there any tips or tricks to this.
I would appreciate any further help on this.
Thanks.

Just hold the clip down with the screwdriver and prise the airbag module (well, the sttering wheel center actually) with your fingers. Try to pull it by the corners
I was thinking to pm you to ask how this went...
Cheers!
