C5 High Level brake light

C5 High Level brake light

Hello all, just had my C5 estate MOT'd and noticed that the high level brake light was not working, it passed, which surprised me as I always thought that if something was fitted to the car it must work :?: Has anyone come a cross this problem and is it worth me trying to fix or I am going to open a can of worms with the multiplex wiring.

The high level brake light is fitted with diodes so unless you fancy a bit of soldering, its a trip to the dealer. Have you checked the wiring through the hinge?
