Xantia estate door weld
At what [point should I have my doors fixed? They look like the weld is failing (cracking around the weld) and the doors do not shut smoothly (they feel and sound like they are connecting part of the door lock mechanism early). Both front doors have a small patch of rust at the top where it looks like they connect with the body......

Having read a few old threads on this subject it seems the hinges normally go on the A piilar but mine have slight cracking on the door side. I'm going to look in to both an earlier idea of bolting the hinges back on with 8mm stud and getting them re-welded at a body shop.
Does anyone know of a good shop in the South West that are familiar with this problem????
