Hi there,
Is it safe enough to change the rear spheres with the car up on car ramp?

Yes i do mean the rear of the car up on ramps to gain access to change the rear spheres. Is there a danger of the whole thing coming down on top of me if i use ramps instead of axle stands? Also which is the best method to use for ease of fitting.

No chance of it dropping on you unless you stand 4 foot high when you lie down <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>and of course be sure it's secure before you venture under. I have used large wooden blocks under the wheels before today to get the same result.
Check this out as to how to change them. It's quite simple & easy job if you followe these instruction although sometimes you need the special tool to loosen if they haven't been off for a few years or not at all.
