workshop manual for post 2000 Xsara

Post by rabenson »

HI all,

I've just got myself a 2003 xsara HDI - dead chuffed with it! :D

However, I popped along to my local halfords to get the inevitable Haynes manual only to find that they don't do one for the "big lamp" xsara!!! I know that there were other changes made to the facelifted model so I'm loath to get the pre 2000 manual. doed anyone know of another publisher who does an appropriate manual?

Thanks,

Ron

I tried that with the 206.

I got the reply that Haynes wasn't gonna bother releasing a book to cover multiplexed 206s or to even update the original 206 Haynes manual.

I think that Haynes manuals have gone really down hill in the last 10 years, They are nothing like as good as they used to be.

I'll give haynes a go but I'm not feeling overly positive. Shame because it's nice to have something to help understand your car, even if you are never going to do their step-by -step engine rebuild....
