Well it finally stopped raining so got out this afternoon. Removed intercooler & as expected its the braided hose from Header tank to water pump that's been leaking, dripping down over inlet manifold & then down over the turbo. ??
as you guys advised removal involved taking a good bit of the engine bay out ie All air induction truncking, radiator, top engine mounts, cam belt covers etc, then squeezing arm into tiny spaces to undo rusty jubilee clips.And removing the HP pump adjuster nut to get the hose clamp off...whats that all about
Just as it got dark removed offending hose & blew into it while blocked & immersed in a basin & wee stream of bubbles came out so thats definitly the one.
Ah..well down to Citroen to have a painful cheque removed at the parts counter. I shudder to think how much it will cost.
Just next weekend to look forward to to refit the new one!!! (NOT)
