ZX TD Estate - rattle

I've just replaced the lower suspension arms and the anti-roll bar links on my ZX. This has quietened the rattly front suspension a fair bit but there is still a knock when the car crosses a ridge in the road, minor pothole etc. Is the anti-roll bar held on by bushes, or is there something else (struts?) that might be the cause of this?

Have you checked your track rod ends and is there any wear in the struts.

Best checked when the car is jacked up, rock the wheel left & right to check the rod ends. While the wheel is on ground, grab the top of the tyre and really pull and push to listen for any noise of wear in the struts. Where the piston rod enters the shock absorber (strut).
