Xantia brakes having a 'wobble'

Hi the reason I posted was due to my sons comments when he first drove a xantia ," has that bloody car got ABS? the brakes are on and off every time you you try to stop". You are pulsing your foot to try and compensate for the spring compressing then pushing back against you, you just dont realise the fact because your brain is used to dealing with the feedback from a normal system. Try pressing the clutch pedal with your right foot,its a lot heavier than with your left,at least thats what your brain tells you. By all means replace the sphere and bleed the brakes but replacing the spring with a metal tube is very cheap and very quick. Remember life isn't a dress rehersal, try and think lazy , a piece of string is easier to pull behind you than push in front. Regards John.
