XM central locking occasional problem...

Hi,a couple of times when trying to unlock the central locking there is a lot of resistance felt and the key won't turn fully,you think its going to turn but you feel so much resistance you stop.The doors just won't open.I had to go in the boot of the car and pull up the inside lock thing at the bottom of the window,and that was a struggle.Now its perfect,works better than ever lol,but what causes this intermittent problem?Its just if my wifes out in the car she's going to struggle if this happens with her,any help appreciated,cheers,Lee.

Try lube the lock. Sounds like the key will not fit because of seized (dry) code tabs in the lock cylinder.
