Saxo Radiator-what make?
Just wanted to check, what make is the standard factory radiator on a mark1 VTR? I'm sure it's Valeo but a guy on another forum says it's a make beginning with O. My original was Valeo and I have just fitted a new one I bought from a Citroen specialist, this too is Valeo. I also took it to my local Citroen dealer as it was slightly different to my original. They checked it against the original which they said was the factory one, the Valeo I bought is for the VTR only it's slightly modified-different cap.
The only original equipment radiators fitted to Saxo Mk1 are VALEO or ORDONEZ. Indeed these 2 companies supply the vast majority of radiators fitted to all Citroen and Peugeots from the factory.
Ordonez radiators seem more common on diesels and turbo diesels, I don't know why.

Ordanez are also fitted on both my BX 16V and the Mrs' Xsara VTS. Shame, as they're complete c**p! The original BX rad lasted 9 years - I'm now on the 2nd since I bought the car, both were 'new'. The Xsara one is also rusting along the top....
Jon, any idea if Valeo rads are available for the VTS? When it comes to replacing it I'd rather go for anything other than Ordanez again!!

valeo do offer the rad for Xsara VTS, need an RP number to confirm correct if you wanted one.
I have no problem with Ordonez rads, my ZX is on its 2nd!
