When using the climate control setting (auto) i find unless the control arm is almost on full it doesnt get as hot as expected.... yet on manual its roasting !!
Any ideas??

The interior temperature sensor is behind the slits to the left of the clock.
There's also a small fan in there to take cabin air in past the sensor.
The sensor gets dusty and insensitive.
A good blow into the slits will help clean it.
The fan motor spindle may have seized.
As squirt of WD40 (holy water) will fix that.
The assembly unclips most easily with a wide-bladed screwdriver from the right.
