Berlingo calliper bolts

Post by gramps »

Hi all,
I need to change the front disks and pads on my Berlingo. Am I correct in assuming the bolts holding the callipers are torx T55, I have seen this size mentioned on previous threads for a Xantia are they the same for a Berlingo and do I need to wind the calliper pots back in if so which way?
Many thanks for any replies.

not sure what size torx?or hex bolts they have, but im sure your caliper pistons just lever back as you hand brake is not on the front but on the rear and drums, you only need to wind them back when they are disc brakes with hand brake mechanisum biult in,even when they are on the rear

I had rather hoped someone would know which socket head was needed. But thanks for the reply Malcolm I think you are right if the hand brake is on the rear.
