I would get the Beru plugs.I put some cheapy own branded plugs in a while ago,but made no real difference to starting(it always starts though). In June i got some Beru plugs fo about £30,made a lot of difference.Really notice now thats its very cold in the morning,-4 last week & it fired up straight away, and very smooth as well,as aposed to the "chug chug sputter" that it used to do.

Check the plugs VERY carefully. Some were boxed up wrong and are not the type that were designed for 2 stage operation and will fail after a couple of weeks. They were about a couple of years back and some have just re-surfaced. Can't remember if they were stamped up wrong or just boxed wrong. Any one here remember?

The Beru one's do cost a bit more, but are worth it every time.

I tried the cheap ones about 18 months ago, two of the plugs had packed after 10k miles. So it would have been cheaper to go Beru form the start.

Thanks very much lads, sorry for the delay in replying, I'm in DIY hell at the moment trying to finish off a nursery. The missus is due between Christmas & New Year. I just want to make sure I can start the car reliably if needed. I have got car seat covers as insurance by the way!!
