C5 fault codes

Post by c5chitty »

Does anyone know if there is a diagnostics tool available that would reset fault codes on my c5 2.2HDI 2001 model. One that doesn't cost the earth and either runs off a PC or laptop?

Once agian might be too late, But if you just want to clear the fault code Just pop the Speedo out and unplug it for a few seconds. This cleared a fault code on mine and saved the dealer charging me £35 to tell me about a faulty reading

ebay OBD reader

Post by Gastropod »

I bought a Geniscan GS 100 OBD reader from a German guy on eBay.
It will not work with my 2002 2.2 HDi Citroen C5.
It does work okay on my Wife's X reg. Fiat Punto.
Anybody know of any fault code reader which does work with C5's?
Anybody want a Geniscan GS 100 cheap? :-)
