I would be up for a little zx meet if it was not too far away!

Nice job smirnoff, especially the pedal box. Did you have to modify any of the engine mounts? How much did you put out on the rollers? Have you got a graph for the torque printed out you could post?

Was it the 24v engine?

Proper job mate. :D

Excellent job!

Almost wish I still had mine, no-one in the UK was tuning ZX's back then it seemed. Had it in 97, sold in 2001... 1.9i volcane, pre cat...

Does anyone want a fascia panel to fit a "normal" stereo? It's the one that recesses the unit, includes sweet fold down flap to cover it. Free to anyone that want's it?
Ian.

Ian, if the radio adaptor is just lying around making the place look untidy,I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands!

Consider it yours. Whereabouts in the UK are you?

I'm in Bolton, but travel quite a bit on business so may be able to meet you someplace...

Ian I work in Princes Risborough in Bucks and live in Kilburn, London. If they're out of you way, I'd be happy to pay for the postage.

=P~ \:D/ DANG!!!!! I love that car to bits smirnoff... Would love to meet but i'm waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy... over in Malaysia... so, unless you're in the area (which i so doubt), it's unlikely we'll meet. But, i wouldn't mind catching up when (if ever) i hop over to wherever you are.

sorry everyone, i have been over in germany for about a month now and so haven't been able to get online until now.
since i am in germany for the forseable future i cannot see there being a meet anytime soon, maybe next summer.
and before you ask it hits the rev limiter in fifth at an indicated 155mph.
now how am i going to increase the gearing for a better top speed?

How about a 'box from an XM 2.5 TD? That must have the longest gear ratios of any Cit.

OR

16" not -so -low profile tyres (and probably some more bodywork mods).
