Where is the alarm siren located on a phase 1 xsara? is it like the ZX & behind the front bumper or like the xantia, inside the nearside wing??

Does the alarm have a separate siren ?
As I understand it the misery screems out by the standard horns [:I]
- and these are most likely located inside the LHS front wing - usually accessible by removing the wheel arch plastic splash screen.

went up the breakers today & according to my diagrams the output to the horn is one Blue wire one Cream wire, none of the Xsaras I could see had this.

Also where are the ultra-sonics? I couldn't find them anywhere on any of the Xsaras.
Finialy is the alarm LED located in with the harzard switch?

Anders, Yes, Xantias, Xaras etc (IE: 1994 onwards I think) do have a seperate siren, even a 1994 XM I recently broke for parts had a seperate siren..

Try looking under the RIGHT HAND SIDE WING, (When sitting in the Car).
I'm pretty sure they are located under one front wing or the other.

yup on all the ones I've looked at there has been no siren there, not even holes for where a bracket might go.

Infact on all the ones I looked at none had ultra sonics or the siren or a led for the alram, not even the car I got the CPU box out of, would these wires go anywhere else?
