PRESSURE REGULATOR.??

Can any of you old chaps out there tell me if the pressure reg unit for my 97 Activa is unique or are other ones compatible.The acc sphere also please?
Gsf don't mention the Activa!
Cit dealer not helpful on this one.(typical)

I will look the code up on my Activa. PR-NEt is not working well..

Strange one this - you have a lack of pressure and the regulator doesn't tick (which would of course happen if the fault were upstream as it were)
Whats strange is that having spent far too much of my life on this and other Citroen boards I cannot recall hearing of one regulator that failed in this way but there's always a first. The usual regulator fault is incurable frequent ticking which can be cured by re-seating the non-return ball valve - a simple and free cure! Still I'm always ready to learn.
GSF sell regulators. Plaiedes recon them and I'm sure will know the correct spec which is probably the same as other Xantias.

in extream cases the regulater can destroy its self when the sphere is completly flat,the push rod is striking the metal disc at a rapied rate,and has been known to brake up if its allowed to run like that for a long time
