help xm oil dip stick length

Hi everyone,
Just got an XM 2.0 non turbo 1991 a couple of months back and am in the process of getting some of the problems sorted out.
The oil dip stick handle has already disintegrated and somebody has replaced it with a piece of rubber which is then stuck down the dip stick tube when fitted.Problem here is I am not sure of the correct oil level and appreciate if someone can let me know of the exact length from top of oil tube to tip of dipstick. I think engine is type X10ju??
