Simple question, are the XUD7T and XUD9Te heads the same? i cant see any difference but figure i best check and see if anyone knows anything i dont?

make sure the innlet and outlet ports are the same shape as on the head your replaceing,otherwisemanifolds wont line up properly

The 2.2 and 2.5 diesel heads on the CX were almost identical,turbo or non turbo, if thats any help!

I have heard it said that later heads were modified to make them less prone to cracking. I don't know any more.

The aluminium alloy used to cast the 1.9TD heads is a different (somewhat stronger) grade. I believe the material used for the exhaust valves is an upgrade too. (both from the 1.9D engines and the 1.7TD)
Dimensionally, they are indeed identical. (except the camshaft output drive that is)
