advice on renewing suspension arm bearings

Hi all
I need to replace the rear suspension arm bearings on one side of my xsara. So I thought while I'm at it why not do both sides. I intend to replace the mountings at the same time, so to make things easier? I am going to take the axle off the car and do all the work on the bench. Any thoughts, hints, tips or general advice would be most welcome.
