berlingo heater matrix

Post by sussex flyer »

Hi, managed to get home last night with the passenger footwell sloshing in coolant. Started to strip the dash down and seats out and it looks like the whole dash has to come out to change the matrix(never had this with fords or bmws] Is this as complicated as it looks?any advice greatly appreciated as I am a courier and need to get back on the road asp.Any ideas how best to get antifreeze mixture out of carpets? cheers Steve.

Most Cits seem to be built around the heater matrix. Certainly on Xantias the dashboard has to come out. The matrix in my daughter's Xsara's was replaced under warranty and that was a 2.5 day job. If Bar's leak won't hold it, then there's nothing for it.
