MK2 Xantia 1.9 Priming bulb?

Does anyone know if the Mk2 1.9 td has a priming bulb or is there a fuel pump in the tank?
The reason I ask is that where the MK1 priming bulb is supposed to be there is not one on my car.

My Xantia is a Mk 2, although it's a 2.1 and it has a primer bulb. Maybe a previous owner has modified it?

A friend of mine has a V reg 306 diesel that has also not got a priming bulb, does that mean there was a change to the Xantia as well?
I'll give Citroen a bell soon I think
