Saxo false alarming

Post by wrinklet1 »

Hi guys,
My Dad has just bought a Saxo1.4vsx, nice car. But...the alarm keeps going off on its own. Why?
I think it may well be because of the interior sensors. I know you can turn them off each time you leave the car, but does anyone know how to turn them off all the time but keep the other part of the alarm active?
Or has someone had the same problem and repaired/sorted it out?

find the alarm ECU located under the glovebox, its held on its bracket by a kind of rubber band thing,on one of the plugs uo will see two peices of twin core wire, these are the ultrasonic sensor wires, either cut them off or remove the terminals from the block.
