Chrome door strips
Can anyone tell me how to remove the chrome inserts in the door mouldings on the Xantia face lift model 98 on. I need to replace these with stainless steel one's
The pre-facelift ones, at any rate, are clipped in.
Use a scriber or something to lift the edge near one end, and slip a broad bladed screwdriver underneath. Once it's started, it will unclip easily with fingers. The strip is quite robust, and could be re-covered with little difficulty, or a substitute fitted (check worktop edging at your DIY store).

I think they're just glued on. I'm sure there is a market for stainless steel replacements if you are offering!
