Xantia Brake pad warning light

Hey all,
My brake wear warning light is constantly on, brake pads are new and have checked the sensors at the front,
Assume it is an electrical fault but wheres the best place to start looking?

I assume you have also checked the wiring from the sensors to as far as you can see....on my zx the wire was touching metal which melted the housing near the sensor....bit of tape and secured it....no more probs

My BX ones got caught up in the handbrake mechanism - beautiful electro-chemical corrosion!
Disconnect them and make sure the light goes out and then re-assemble one lead at a time - checking the light after each one.
