My heater fan motor works fine but when i use the 4 or is it 3 speed fan switch I get the full speed and the next one down but when I go to single speed or off the heater fan keeps going it will turn off with the ignition switch. I have had to resort to wiring a switch into a blown fuse which I use inplace of the heater fuse in the fuse box but the wire from the fuse to the switch gets hot. could the fault be in the heater blower resistor.
