Anyone know if the ZX had a cruise control option? Would it be difficult to fit?

Probably the ZX didn't have a cruise control option. But you could retro fit one. Take a look at www.ultimatedesign.co.uk or www.conrad-anderson.co.uk I fitted one to a BX and I've also had one fitted to my 2.1 Xantia. Wouldn't like to be without it.
Guys, need help.
I have '97 TD exclusive edition of XM. The whole car is great except one little detail - cruise control is not functional
There is button on the dash board that you have to press to enable CC and then there is small handle on the right side of steering wheel for operating CC.
It just doesn’t work.
To make things worse…I think the CC somehow got jammed so when I’m driving on highway - I just can’t make it over 150-160 km/h??!!!
I know that system is using vacuum to function but…is there anyone who can tell me more about al this? Anyone had a same experience?
Or maybe how to get to bottom of this.
It’s not that I need this CC that much …but the top speed is driving me nuts.
