xantia clutch cable jobbie.

Post by bonnie the botch »

hello all, hope you can help, have a 1.9td xantia 96 n , the clutch cable came off at the pedal assembly end as a result of the spring clip failure and breakage the plastic jobbie that goes with this is missing. the cable is of the mech flavourand apears to be un-broken, but we cant see how the clip and plastic bit goes back on ,Q1, is there a specific tool for this task, Q 2 does the whole pedal assembly have to come out to do the job. any advice welcome thanks in advance

The problem is very common, The 2 x parts are really really expensive too!
Not really, Your looking at under £5 for both bits from the main dealer! lol
