Xantia Plip Repaired

I have ended up with 3 remote plips that do not work, I took one apart gave it a good clean and had a good look with a magnifing glass and found the soldering on the clear sender was not connecting and needed resoldering, resoldered it and plip works great.
Took the other 2 to pieces and found the same fault on both, before you throw away your remote plip check the soldering on the 2 sender solder joints it may be all it is.
Let me know if I am right about yours please

i have got one with xantia i am breaking,i have allready taken it apart and fond one of the switches has colapst so if any one has one that dont work they dont i might be able to make one good one out of two regards malcolm
