Resetting ECU (Motronic 5.1.1)

Hello,
Does anyone know how to reset the ECU on a s2 Xm ('95 2.0i 16v) without the diagnostic computer? And does anyone know if you can clean a MAP sensor?

yes, easy diconnect battery earth leave for ten mins and reconnect will do the job
