XMV6SI cutting out fuel multiplug or relay?

Post by Paulxmski »

Hi,
Strange phenomenon car stops going anytime it feels like might be on roundabout going uphill or parked and wont start. Spoke with friendly mech who said there is a multiplug behind/below LHM reservoir which can go into meltdown and he has replaced these especially on 2.0. I went through old bills and found one for the replacement of fuel relay. Also found bill for replacement of complete loom eek! Anyone know where fuel relay lives? Is it one of those on the ecu box? If it proves to be the multiplug would it be better to solder wires together to replace it or just put in a new one. Thanks Paul.

The culprit is the mutiplug under the LHM tank you will have to bridge some wires together and solder them for apermanent fix..
The inj relay is located in front of the ECU..blue wires are fuel
pump relay but some later models use brown double relay..
