Weird ride heights on Xantia TD 1995.

Weird ride heights on Xantia TD 1995.

If I drop the suspension completely down, and raise again to normal height, the front rises quite high but the back does not! If I select the maximum height it will eventually rise. If I then drop it to normal driving height it stays OK. What is the fault here please?
