Nope, they dont have one, but you can buy an aftermarket carbon air filter, if just clips over the air inlet under the scuttle panel, it isnt as good as a proper pollen filter but it keeps most dirt and dust off the dashboard

Mosser, Peter, thank you for the replies. Mosser do you have the details of the aftermarket supplier? Had a quick look for filters but didn't strike lucky on that one.
It seems a shame not to fit them in such a nice motor. Cheers, Robin

I'm afraid i bought the pollen filter about 6 years ago now and cant remember who sold it to me, i do remember that they didnt do one for the XM at the time, only for the peugeot 605 and this didnt fit properly so they borrowed my car for half a day and made one to fit for me, they also added it to their product cataloge for everyone else that might have been interested,
I have had a quick search on the internet but couldnt find them, i will do a bit more searching for you tonight as i wouldnt expect them to have dropped it from their catalogue

I'm afraid i cant find where i got the pollen filter from Robin, it may be that they have discontinued the filter as the xm is discontinued and was never fitted with one as standard so the demand might not have been there for them

Mosser, your a star for trying. Many thanks. I may try and see what can be done with an activated charcoal mat and a pollen filter taken apart. Just to stop me getting bored! Robin
