When i did my advanced bike training the phrase was - its not how fast you ride - its how you ride fast.
Note same words in both parts of sentence. learning to ride a bike in the first place improved my road awareness and positioning in car also, but doing advanced rider training increased my observational skills and therefore allowed me to ride safer, smoother and interestingly faster.
My next plan is to take bro and myself on a skid pan training course- i have some skid control experience, but can never not stop improving...
Should have compulsory retest thro out the years of driving so that you have to keep your road craft/highway code / forced to have eyesight tests, at least upto date (opening a can of worms now i feel....
