frontend whining..

hi, subject to a couple of recent posts,ive just changed front wheel bearing on xantia.as going around corners had the classic whining/droning sound..the bearing was dry but no play init,any way new bearing ..still got the bloody whining..seemed to be nearside so it was changed.now could it be cv joint but no clicking on full lock both ways or maybe the very recent tyres ive had put on ???there barum barvurus tyres quite a sporty tread pattern..please advise before i spend more money out and get nowhere

Check the posting from earlier. Could be you've both got the same problem.
