anti rollbar HC clamp rear

Post by captain scarlet »

Hi I have now had a good look under my car and have discovered that the suspension plastic link is intact but the metal link to the anti roll bar clamp has broken. How does the clamp come off? Any tips on replacing this part would be a great help.
Thanks

The clamp is removed simply by undoing the securing bolt then turning the clamp.

If you need to buy the clamp then it is £14.05 + VAT part number 5291 13.

Our friendly member Captain Stempy has made a schematic available :

( We dont show these large pic's here anymore [:I] )
As you can see the clamp can be opened and replaced no problem.

Thanks for your help guys.
I have got the offending clamp off, wasn't to bad. It is a nightmare trying to get the car on ramps when the rear suspension is on the floor.
Have to get the part on monday now local dealer closes on Sat. Doh!!
Again thanks for help.
