What sort of price will an independent charge for a cambelt change ?
Also is there anything else that should be done at the same time ?

At 63K it shouldn't be necessary to change tensioner and waterpump, it it would be as well to examine both and make sure the pulley is running freely without grinding noise.

cost me £125 cash to get mine done by a reputable indy. They usually give me good prices tho because I do business with their family+ reccomend their services to others and offer them cash.

Recommended mileage for cambelt on HDi engines is 100,000 (but obviously better to be safe than sorry).
Had mine done at about 95,000.
Get crankshaft sprocket checked as these are mounted on like a rubber doughnut.Ther are two separate crankshaft pulleys.
The auxilary pulley on mine went at 130,000 and left me with no drive to alternator, hydraulic pump & air con.
Auxilary pulley is about £95-00.
Xantia 2.0HDi 135,000

My Pug (sorry wrong forum!) cost £120 for a cambelt and service from my friendly "local" indy. Ok, so he's 40 miles away but when you find a good mechanic, you are reluctant to look elsewhere!
