Bleeding green

Post by peter1138 »

Waah, it bled [:(]
Seems to be from the around the LHM tank somewhere. It was due a change anyway, I guess, but I not in this manner! Is there anything easy to check that a mechanical numpty like me can look at? Failing that there's always the local dealership (probably a bad idea) and an indie garage...

Front anti-sink valve is under the LHM tank somewhere, and prone to leaking on later cars AFAIK. Should be a case of depressurise system, removing the pipes, unbolting any mountings and replacing it. You will probably need to clean the whole are, put in some new LHM and start the engine to try and see where it is coming out.
