clutch funny slip xantia 1.9td

hi
my clutch works perfect but for some reason if im moving mainly in 3rd if i hit the juice and the turbo kicks in i get clutch slip then it catches, to prove to myself that its not slipping proper iheld on brakes and took revs up before releasing clutch and can stall engine
any body lse got this

Sounds like the first stages of clutch slip due to wear to me.
It's the traditional way to check. 3rd gear on a slight incline, accelerate hard. If the revs rise out of synch with the speed then the clutch is on it's way out. It will be a while before it shows up from a standing start.

thanks just the info/bad news i wanted. Ho hum time for it to go and find a xantia estate

Or you could replace the clutch yourself...
