My Xantia Rear Suspension doesn't go up or down
Hey ppl, I have a P reg Xantia 1.8 16v, When i move the suspension positions to high or low the rear end does not move the front is fine goes up and down., but when i drive the rear sometimes moves on its own also i can hear presure bein released when i press the break hard could this be my problem.
I point it to be a stuck height corrector.
Releasing it has been aborded many times in the forum, but here goes:
Car down (preferably with the rear on ramps - don't ever get under a hydraulic Citroën, without support, as the car may crash on you and kill you), check for the height corrector, a thingy with several pipes, in the middle of the stabilizer bar. Spray at will with WD-40 and move the lever up and down. This should free it.
Could also be a height linkage that's popped out. While you're at it, check if there is a plastic link from the stab bar to the height corrector.
