Hi David
If you have an early nineties XM 24V. It will be a single overhead cam and the cam will have been replaced (all the ones around now have had their cam's replace). It was also be a manual. The late XM 24V - '97 onwards - are double overhead cam and auto.
Cheers
Tony

Andy,
That V6 24v engine that you told me you have for sale, do you still have it? Also do you know if it has Ceramic Cam Followers on it? I believe they had a lot of bother with these engines, and the ceramic bits were the cure. Also what kind of condition is it in? The head gasket and everything look ok? Also does it come with a gearbox?
Sorry to be troubling you, but i think my Father has become interested.
It was £200 you were looking for wasn't it?
Also is it still ok for palletline?
Regards
David.
