Xantia - Spare Parts

Can anyony recommend a breaker who specialises in Citroens. I'm after an electric drivers wing mirror but they appear to be like rocking horse +$#**", here in Bristol anyway. Everyone seems to want to sell me a new one ranging from £80 to £125. If I paid this, it would almost certainly double the value of the car. Next question is would a Mk1 manual mirror fit the electric mirror aperature. Any advice appreciated.

I know of a bloke who breaks Peugeot`s & Renault`s.The last my Dad was there last year,he had just started to take Xantia`s in.Based around Wotton Under Edge,on a farm.About 1/2 hr from Bristol.He`s not listed in the Yellow page`s etc.I`ll get the number off my Dad.Unless thats to far.There`s also a Citroen breaker in Tetbury.Depends where you are in Bristol.I live in Patchway,so it`s only about 40 mins away for me.The last time i was at Yate car breakers,they had a SX TD there,& a mk 2.But they can be a bit dear.

np many thanks. I'm in Yate. I've tried Yate breakers but no luck. Great if you could get me the number for the one in Wooton. Many thanks.

No answer at my dad`s.He`s in Yate as well[:)].Will try later.

You could try Dursley auto`s.About 10 mins from the Latteridge/Iron Acton juction on the A38,pass Thornbury on the right hand side.They usally have a few Xantia`s in,good prices & friendly.01453 544727/544842.
Or you could try adzbaby on here.I picked up a lower engine cover for mine.He`s in Hampshire,but i was passing,so picked it up.Otherwise,he was going to send it to me.Sent him a cheque,no problems.He might have one.

We think this is the number,01453 836785.My Dad`s away,but my mum thinks it could be in Nailsworth?Not sure.But she said its about 25 mins away from Yate.His name is Richard.

No such luck yet. Lots of manual but no electric. Will just have to keep searching.

Have you tried "http://www.citroenparts.co.uk/" (which is in Birmingham) ?
They seem to specialise on French parts (car parts that is !!)
