Marty. I went for a squint at it about 1pm. By the staining the rear bumper it looks like a diesel one. I've seen worse, check out the TZD up my drive! At 400 notes, the guy selling it must be on the planet Zog, I'd give no more than £75. Was it taxed and tested?

No laughing from me, nowt wrong with that! Engine looks clean, apart from a leaky cam seal on the pump side. Panels look straight, it's wearing its 213000 miles well. I've a TZD rear spoiler if you want it, it's a green one though.
Welcome to the BX club! I'm sure our man Wobs will enroll you in due course.
This BX thing is spreading.......

Stewart the answer to your question is that TZ was a spec level and TZD and TZD Turbo's were sold.
Waht is really interesting is why there are so many turbo's around now. What Car for March 1990 lists the TZD saloon at £10950 and the Turbo at £12149. OK you say that may be worth it but the 16 TZS (petrol) was £10416 and the 8 valve GTi £12350. (TZS - 114 mph, 0-60,10.1 - turbo 104 mph, 0-60 10.5)
All had PAS (£348 extra on base ones) and ABS was £832 extra!
Now what would I have bought at the time? Mine's an estate with ABS (£13273 total) and for that i could have had a 4x4 estate (but not saloon - which is GTi)Volvo 240 DL estate and change, Passat Estate, quite a lot of Saab but not a Turbo, a base BMW 318i, all Sierra Estates except Ghia and 4x4, but a Peugeot GTD turbo estate was £15605 + £863 for the ABS!

Jeremy/Alan
The white TZD went for £569.05. Load of money but it looked a very clean car.
Marty.
So, our Fleetwood BX is a turboD. Gonna see if the price drops, but it will have to drop alot though!
